Voicemail to text — your message as a real text, email, and transcript.
A caller leaves a voicemail. A plain email lands right away — and on Smart it's in your texts with the audio attached, with a written transcript on Upgrade.

Three steps, then it's automatic.
- Step 1Forward your missed calls
Dial one carrier code, like *71 on Verizon. Done in a minute.
- Step 2The caller leaves a message
They hear your greeting and speak. Nothing changes for them.
- Step 3It reaches you right away
A plain email and your dashboard, free — every time. On Smart it's a text with the audio attached; on Upgrade, a written transcript too.
Carrier-by-carrier codes are on the setup page.
Carriers transcribe voicemail. They won't text it to you.
Carrier transcripts live inside their own app, on a smartphone, behind a login.
Voice92 emails you every voicemail free — and on Smart it sends the voicemail as an actual text with the audio attached, with a written transcript on Upgrade.

What can arrive with each voicemail.
On Smart, attached to the text and ready to play — or link-only to save data. It also attaches to your email on Smart and up.
On Upgrade, read it anywhere you can't press play. English and Yiddish.
On User and up, matched from your contacts — not just ten digits.
So you know if it can wait — included on every plan, starting with the free email.
No message left? Every missed call is logged in your dashboard, free. On User ($2.88) you also get a missed-call alert by email with the caller's name; a text alert is added on Smart ($6.99). Or dial in to hear everything and call back with one key.

Voice92 vs. YouMail, Google Voice, and VXT.
The short version: Voice92 is the only one of these that needs no app, works on a flip or basic phone, and texts you the voicemail as a real message — while you keep your current number.
YouMail, Google Voice, and VXT details are based on their public information as of July 2026 and may change. VXT has announced it is discontinuing its voicemail product in 2026.
Voicemail to text, answered.
Is voicemail to text free?
The Free plan gives you a call-in voicemail box, your missed calls and voicemails in the dashboard, and a plain email alert for every voicemail. Getting the voicemail texted to you as a voice note starts on Smart ($6.99/mo), and a written transcript is on the Upgrade plan ($10/mo).
How accurate is the transcription?
Readable enough to skip pressing play. Written transcripts — English and Yiddish, up to two minutes — are on the Upgrade plan ($10). On Smart ($6.99) the audio is attached to every text, so you can always listen for yourself.
Does it work with my carrier?
Yes — any US carrier with call forwarding: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and kosher and prepaid carriers. Setup is one dial code, like *71 on Verizon.
Can I get the voicemail as an actual SMS/MMS?
Yes — on the Smart plan ($6.99) the audio arrives attached to a real text, or as a link if you want to save data.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Voice92 works over normal calls, texts, and email — on any phone.
What happens to spam calls?
Block a caller once and they're done — no greeting, no alerts. Everything else stays logged in your dashboard.
Your next voicemail can be a text.
