Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
This is a general privacy policy written in plain language, not attorney-reviewed final language. If you have questions about it, contact us at voice92.com/contact.
Who we are & scope
Voice92 is a voicemail service operated by JLPrograms ("Voice92", "we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we handle information when you use Voice92. The service is intended for users in the United States; it is not directed to, or intended for, individuals in the EU or UK, and we do not offer it there.
Information we collect
We collect the account details you give us at signup — your name, mobile number, carrier, and email. Through your use of the service we also handle voicemail audio, transcripts of that audio, and call metadata such as caller numbers and timestamps; greeting recordings you record, upload, generate from text, or send us as a voice note; text messages you exchange with our number (for example the signup conversation and settings commands); messages you send our support team; and, if you use our mobile app, a push notification token for your device. If you use contacts import, we handle the contact details you provide. For paid plans, our processor handles tokenized payment information — we do not store full card numbers. We also set a session cookie so you stay signed in, and use analytics as described below.
How we use it
We use your information to deliver voicemails and notifications, transcribe audio, operate features you use (such as the hotline, greetings, spam blocking, and contacts), bill paid plans, secure the service, improve the product, and provide support. If you invite someone through shared access, that person can view your account's messages and related data until you remove them. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party marketing.
AI transcription & AI assistance
Voicemail audio is transcribed by third-party AI speech-to-text providers: English audio by Google (Gemini), used on a paid service tier under terms that prohibit using your content to train its models, and Yiddish audio by Yiddish Labs (yiddishlabs.com), which processes it solely to produce your transcript. The Terms of Service name these providers and link to their terms. We do not create voiceprints or identify speakers by voice. Some greetings are generated from text you type using an AI voice. Our support team also uses AI assistance to help draft replies: when you contact us, your message and relevant details from your account may be processed by our AI provider solely to prepare that reply, which a human reviews before sending.
SMS / 10DLC
By providing your number and checking the consent box at signup, you agree to receive account-related and voicemail/missed-call text messages (SMS/MMS) from Voice92 at that number. Message frequency varies with your account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help; we honor STOP and HELP requests. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
Service providers & subprocessors
We rely on a small number of vendors to operate the service: Supabase (database and storage); Vercel (hosting); wholesale telecommunications providers (call handling, voicemail recording, and SMS/MMS delivery over the mobile networks); Resend (email delivery, including receiving your email replies to our messages); Google (Gemini — transcription, AI greetings, and AI-assisted support drafting); a specialized Yiddish speech-to-text service (Yiddish transcription); Microsoft (Clarity — website analytics and session replay, described below); Expo (mobile app push notification delivery); and Cardknox (payments). They process data to provide their service to us; analytics data is additionally handled as described in the Analytics section.
Website analytics (Microsoft Clarity)
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website — through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay — so we can improve the product and fix problems. Clarity collects usage data via first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies, such as pages visited, clicks, scrolling, and general device information. We enable masking so that message content and personal details are hidden from session recordings wherever possible, and we do not use this data for advertising. For more about how Microsoft handles this data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement at privacy.microsoft.com.
Imported contacts
If you import contacts, you represent that you have the right to share that information with us. We use imported contacts only to provide the service to you — for example, to show caller names and organize your messages. If you are not a Voice92 user and believe your information was imported, you may request removal by sending us a message at voice92.com/contact.
Data retention
We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then as necessary for legal, dispute-resolution, anti-abuse, and record-keeping purposes. When you delete a voicemail, its audio is removed from active storage; when you delete your account, we remove associated data within a reasonable period, subject to those retention needs.
Your choices, access & deletion
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and associated data by sending us a message at voice92.com/contact. As a courtesy we honor these requests except where we are required or permitted to retain certain information (for example, for legal, security, anti-abuse, or billing reasons).
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Do Not Track
We do not track you across third-party sites for advertising, and we do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals differently, because we do not perform cross-site advertising tracking. Our analytics (described above) measure how our own site is used.
Children
Voice92 is for users 18 and older. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us at voice92.com/contact and we will delete it.
Changes & contact
We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date below reflects the latest version, and material changes will be noted here or communicated to you. This is a general policy in plain language, not attorney-reviewed final language. Questions? Send us a message at voice92.com/contact.
